DESIGN BRIEF /
CHALLENGE
The client needed a brand identity ahead of launching their podcast focused on education. With no predefined concept, they gave me full creative freedom, requesting only that the result feel modern and approachable.
KEY RESULT
The geometric design with color squares & lines, and the geometric typography reference the Bauhaus style, reflecting avant-garde teaching. The linear smiley logo mark adds a friendly touch and represents the brand's core concepts: education, podcasting, and a vision for innovation. Finally, the bright color scheme give the brand a modern, youthful energy, just like its creators!
Metaeducation is a podcast created by two language teachers with extensive educational experience in various multicultural contexts, which has allowed them to view education from different perspectives.

After understanding the personality and purpose of the podcast (empathise), I identified the main keywords associated with the brand.
Using these, I conducted a word association exercise (word map) to come up with ideas for the brand's image and create a moodboard which served as inspiration before sketching concepts.

03 Defining the solutions
After sketching several ideas, three main concepts where further defined and presented to the client, who loved the last concept which mixed the idea of education, a microphone (podcast) and the podcast's initials.
